Is PHS ever going to reopen the Viaduct Beer Garden? I just moved to the area and thought it was reopening because they left it all behind, but it doesn't look like they have plans to.

I don't know, but they left a lot of things behind at their spot next to Pat's and Geno's as well which was never slated for reopening.

Aren't these "pop-ups" just that - temporary and not intended to be re-opened?

Usually, with the notable exception of the PHS pop-up in the 1500 block of South St, which is on its 3rd or 4th year now, although after the first year it moved to a different lot in the same block as the first lot has since been built-on.

Maybe with the Viaduct they are waiting for further progress on that project - it would make a great spot for one.

Where was this Viaduct Beer Garden?
That RR line is underground in our neighborhood.

And yes, the PHS concept is pop-up and move.
However, Parks and Recreation now has their Parks on Tap program.

It's at 10th and Hamilton in Callowhill, kinda under the Viaduct. It's the abandoned Viaduct, not any of the active RRs.

That's a good point. It's not under Phase 1 of the park, but I could see them moving the garden it over to Noble when it opens.
