    This movie was shot on 52nd Street and other parts of the city in the 70s.Nice shots of Mr Silks 52nd and spruce,bar scene is silks on 52nd.

    The buses use to stop in the middle of market street.I fell over those chains more than once

    And the trolleys prior to that. Those islands were actually put in place for the trolleys, since they couldn't move over to the curb lane to pick up passengers. We had the same arrangement on major streets in downtown Pittsburgh when I was a kid.
