Thurs. 10/18 Community Meeting w/ 18th Police District (Crime & Safety)

All are welcome to attend a community meeting this Thursday, October 18, with Lt. Brian McBride/Sgt. Collean Cook of the University City section of the 18th Police District to discuss matters of crime and other neighborhood issues. It will take place at Calvary Center, 48th and Baltimore Ave., in the lower level at 6 pm (entrance on 48th St.). Come to talk about your concerns with Lt. McBride/Sgt. Cook. These meetings are very useful and educational. I was there, and I highly recommend going to all neighborhood residents.

I described how someone stole my beautiful classical stone urns, and others described how their flower planters also disappeared. We discussed ways to better secure these items.
