contractor for sidewalk repair

The trees in West Philly are wonderful, but eventually the roots cause havoc with the sidewalks.

I'm looking for someone to repair a portion of the sidewalk in front of my house. Hopefully somebody local, but as long as they are reliable and not overpriced...

Any recommendations for concrete contractors?

We used David Smith General Contractor, 200 Canterbury Dr, Wallingford, PA 19086-6618. For some reason I could not find a phone number on the interwebs. Fax: 610-872-3097. Prompt, reliable, tells you the price in advance. We had sidewalk and steps replaced. He removed a major tree root going under the sidewalk. He was recommended to us by a neighbor who had sidewalk work done. Very happy with the work.

Without necessarily disclosing what you paid for the jobs, what range could one expect for a job like this? We have a gorgeous red oak in front of our house, but within a year or so, we'll have to have similar work done. It's really screwed up the sidewalk.
