    Default Volunteering with children?

I was recently looking at a bulletin in school to volunteer with a childcare service for single mothers while they went to GED/college courses. The problem is it said you must be 18 (I'm still over 3 months away.) . I was wondering if there was anything I could participate in? Any suggestions are appreciated.

There are lots of places that will allow you to volunteer with children if you are under 18. You could check out Philadelphia Cares website.
Depending on what area of the city you live in you can check out local schools that have after school programs or at local rec. centers.
Local Hospitals like CHOP also take volunteers but have an intense application process and you need to commit to 100 plus hours.
Other alternative include the National History Musuem which has a young kiddie section.
The zoo has a wonderful volunteer program
    Hope this helps
