While we're on the subject, I want to get a little keyboard for my iPad 2. Any suggestions? It must be very portable.

Stability is a good thing but I don't find the huge number of apps a big plus. It's not like you really need that many and anything hugely useful will be developed for multiple platforms.

Eh, they all suck, but the best one is Probably Apple's own desktop keyboard...BUt it may not be small enough

You'd be surprised. The fact is, iPad users spend more money on apps. Devs take the time to put more polish into their iOS apps because they know they will make more money on the platform.

For example, Tune In on iOS is a great app for listening to and recording radio and discovering and finding stations. The Windows Phone version is a mediocre, stripped down version that only does the bare essentials.

I have tried at least 20 from different brands and generations, and without a doubt the newest logitech keyboard case is the best in form and function. It magnetically snaps onto the iPad, has an almost normal size keyboard, and fits perfectly. You can also get them locally at best buy and I think Staples.

Like I said, hugely useful. That example is a niche market. Something like Swype gets ported everywhere with similar results or copycats make a better version specific for each OS they are experts in.
