Default Locked out of my router

It's a Cisco WRT160n. My home network (wired and wireless) is running well. Unfortunately, I can't reach it's web page. A message says "Connection Refused". This happened once before , I had installed the Cisco program Network Magic and a few days later when I wanted to modify the configuration, the connection was refused. I hard booted and reconfigured with a different IP range. I was good to go for a few days and then I'm locked out again.

Anyone ever encounter something like this? I've uninstall-ed Network Magic. Cisco's support suggestions were a scream.

If you believe people should work till they die to pay for a government worker to retire at 50, you're a Democrat. Otherwise, you're a Republican. All other differences between the parties are trivial.

Sail: Thanks for the link. I was hoping to resolve this without having to reset.

One support chat session, three emails to tech support and one phone call to Cisco Customer Service later, here's the situation. I couldn't reach the router's HTML configuration page because of Cisco's software, Network Magic. There may be an undocumented firewall exception that might be made to allow contact with the router through the software but it's undocumented. Yes, other users have reported this problem but no known configuration adjustment or firewall exception is available. Is that cool or what? (he asked cynically)
