I'll tell you what I want: I want them to actually put a "missed call/message" indicator on the iphone, so you can easily tell missed something while you were away from your phone without actually having to wake the damn thing up. Also, the ability to bulk delete text messages would be nice. Have you ever you had to delete 1,000 messages on your iPhone before (hint: you have to do it one... message... at... a... time...). I've given up. I have over 4,000 messages on my iphone, and it will probably continue to climb until I decide to get a new phone. (I get alot of automated alert messages from work).

Agreed. When I first got my iPhone, I posted a list of Blackberry features that I wished the iPhone had and both of these were on the list. The blinking notification light is at the top of what I want. (While I wish I could delete multple emails at once, because you can do this on the computer itself, it's not a major factor for me; rarely do I have a great desire to clean my inbox from my phone, and I have never had any desire to delete text messages).

Apple’s rapid international rollout of the new iPhone 5 has prompted many analysts to upgrade their sales forecasts for the smartphone, with some suggesting it could sell almost twice as many in the opening weekend as the iPhone 4 two years ago.

"Demand for the device is so strong that Apple sold out of its initial inventory in an hour and pushed back its shipping date for such pre-orders. Apple's website began taking orders for the product at midnight PST on Friday. An hour later, though, the shipping times for the device were delayed from the original Sept. 21 to two weeks, or Sept. 28, according to Dow Jones."

You may remember that it took 22 hours for the iPhone 4S and about 20 hours for the iPhone 4 to sell out of its pre-order, launch-day stock. The iPhone 5 took just about 60 minutes.

    lol

That is meaningless unless we know the amount of inventory available for each — specifically, that it was the same for all three product launches. If they had less iPhone 5 stock, it would obviously sell out more quickly. Lacking that information, we can't assume anything.

Yeah, but with no rumors of a supply issue, this is a huge thing...

I wouldn't be surprised if its 800 by the iPad mini announcement(If it happens) and if Apple still has a TV waiting or 2013, they may even top 1000.....

"Apple shares were up more than 1% at $698.90 after the company announced that pre-orders for the iPhone 5 topped two million units in 24 hours. That set a new record at more than double the initial pre-order activity for the iPhone 4S model last year. Apple shares have already gained more than 70% for the year to date."

    Google Is Great, But Apple

With both stocks over $700 a share and the companies on a collision course Breakout asked Ironfire Capital founder Eric Jackson which company will emerge as the victor in the looming war for your consuming and investing dollars.

"Apple's already won to this point, hands down," says Jackson in the attached video.
