"If they would price it at $299 they would kill most of the 7-inch competitors," Moorhead said. "Apple's iPad would probably be about an 8-inch tablet, but it's going to catch on very quickly if nothing else because it says Apple and it's priced at $299."

Looking at it from "an" historical perspective, one "might" say ap and goog were strong buys.

    Hi ShoshTryls
From my side Nokia is a best company and its a brand name,if you want to go for windows phones, nokia has launched windows phone 8 and this company is the strongest competitor in the market.Nokia launched different smartphones which looks like electronic wallet,so better go for Nokia.

Sales of Apple’s iPhone 5 could add as much as half a percentage point to U.S. fourth-quarter annualized GDP, according to JPMorgan, underscoring the ubiquitous tech company’s unprecedented influence on one country’s economy.

No doubt it'll sell well, and I'll get one too, but I think the expectations are getting a bit frothy. The 4" screen will be a nice enhancement and just the right size (those Android phones beyond 4" look too big and bulky). But other than that, there's no major design or performance improvements. I have the LTE iPad and don't notice a huge improvement in speed over 3G. The two-tone backplate looks weird in the leaked photos. And making it a smidgen thinner does not exactly have much wow factor at this point. I might even prefer the same thickness as the last generation and the better battery life it might offer. The NFC chip is not looking likely after all. So what exactly are we getting tomorrow? Substantially the same design as the 4/4S with a bigger screen. That's nothing to sneeze at — but also nothing to rhapsodize over. I do think they'll have the fingerprint reader technology and that will help with mobile payments, even without NFC. Looking forward to that.

I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want (yes, I'm quoting the Spice Girls — deal with it). I want the rumor of a new iPod nano wristwatch with Bluetooth connectivity to be true. It suddenly becomes an iPhone accessory: read texts, emails and other notifications at a glance, and video chat like Dick Tracy! That would be innovative. Shaving 1.7mm off the thickness of the phone is an engineering marvel, I'm sure, but won't make any difference in functionality.

Agreed. It looks like OS6 will be the big improvement, and that iPhone 4S will be able to take advantage of all that OS6 packs.

The best part about iphone 5 is that i'll be able to get an iphone 4 for nothing.

Yes, I've seen it. But I want something that has Apple's fit and finish, and idiot-proof integration with the rest of the products and ecosystem.

Well, so much for the iWatch. No dice. In fact, the nano got a bit less nano-sized.

And all the iPhone stuff was exactly as leaked/predicted. Bah.

Yeah. Pretty underwhelming. I'm kind of intrigued by the new nokia 920. I'm a little bored by iOS and want to try something different.
