    Default Jeffersonville Golf Course

    Hey, I noticed that a lot of the houses in Jeffersonville have signs saying save the golf course or sumpin like that.
    Anyone know whats going on?

    I hope it's not as dire as signs like that would portend. I love that course, one of the best affordable places to play in the area.

    Maybe AM 1180 WFYL, which broadcasts from the golf course (seriously they do) is trying to put up a bigger transmitter? Their signal is absolutely pitiful, so it would be no surprise.

    It's about Westover GC, not Jeff... There were plans to build a monster recreational center withlall kinds of baseball fields, tennis courts, and stuff like that..I dont now exact details, but I think it got shot down recently by West Norrtion Zoning or Neighborhood Board.

    Westover is a crappy course that no one should miss in the event it's torn down.

    I think that most residents are concerned about losing the open space in the community, This would change the character of the communities surrounding the golf course from rolling hills and greenery to highly built up...
