Default Inspections in the western suburbs

So, for the first time, I'm having to have a vehicle inspected in PA, as the inspection for the car I bought last year expires in July. Anyone have any suggestions for a good mechanic that won't rip me off? I'm used to doing my own repairs and maintenance, so the only mechanic I have used up here was when I took the car to the Nissan dealer to have it looked at before I bought it.

King's Automotive in Bryn Mawr. Family run, honest.

Cool, I'll have to give them a call and get a quote then.

I do prefer your family run joints, but I've seen people get burned by the small places too, so it's good to get a reference for one. For example, I have a friend who insists on taking her car to Plisinski's in Rosemont, but it seems like she comes out paying a couple hundred more than she should have every time she goes. A good, honest mechanic's shop is indeed a great thing to find!

Look for the AAA Aproved sign or go to their website.

I've been to Plisiniki's. I do not recommend. King's have treated me and my neighbors well. For repairs they try to save you $, give you the option of new or used parts. I appreciate that common sense. They don't take credit cards - they will just mail you a bill and you can send them a check.

What does a AAA Aproved sign tell you about a place? Dealerships have it and they're the biggest scammers in the game.
