The VFW webster is lacking in that you can't bring up the data for American
deaths during the war on terror. Or if somebody can paste the whole list please.

I just received my new VFW mag this week and I have all 65 names and home-
towns and request I might post a sampling of deaths. The US Army had the most
followed by the Marines: (this is a limited list by me)

It appears the 5th Marines took the brunt for the MC:
1st Lt Bill Donnelly IV, 3rd Bn, 5th Marines, 1st Marine Division; Picayune, Miss

Lance Corporal Jose Maldonado, 3rd Bn, 5th Marines ~ Mathis, Texas

Cpl Sean Osterman, 2nd Recon Bn, 2nd MarDiv, Princeton, Minn

SSgt Justin Schmalstieg, 1st Explosive Ordnance Disposal Co, Pittsburgh

US Army deaths: No doubt the 101st Airborne sustained the largest lost:
Spc Shannon Chihuahua, 101st Airborne, Thomasville, Ga

SSgt Sean Flannery, 101st Airborne, Wyomissing, Pa

Pfc Buddy Mclain, 61st Cav, 101st Airborne, Mexico, Maine

SSgt Jason Reeves, 2nd MI Battalion, Odessa, Texas

Pfc Austin Staggs, 101st Airborne, Senoia, Ga

US Air Force:
Lt Col Gwendolyn Locht, 96th Inpatient Ops Sqdn,
Ft Walton Beach, Fla

These are only a few Americans that died between Oct 25 to Dec 8, 2011. Please
feel free to search any of the above and send a letter to the family.
