Call it what you want. I just want the same rights and privileges that come with marriage.

Obviously it isn't working.
it's just a unnatural act. should we let brother & sister, or mom & son get married?
what is your definition of unnatural? homosexuality has been observed in over a thousand animal species.
Same-Sex Behavior Seen In Nearly All Animals, Review Finds
"Believing is seeing" - paraphrased from PH
marring a son & mother is unnatural act. Do I believe 2 men/woman having sex is unnatural, absolutely. but hey, you can do as you please. who cares what wild animals do?
to the original question -
Wanted to avoid this topic but its been long enough. Raised Quaker, dad is an untypical to Americans (very typical to Japanese) sect of Buddhism. Done a lot a reading on Buddhism generally, am by nature a bit of a skeptic. By any measure, Quakerism, Buddhism, with very liberal doses of agnosticism- yes, all of my faith traditions are accepting and supportive with a much heavier emphasis on "you will find your path through reflection", don't look to us for simple "Though shalt nots" - it's not that simple.
Wow. Really man?
You're putting your beliefs onto those practices to make them better than others.
My Christian life also says that homosexuality is ok. Others? Not so much.
Quakerism?! Seriously? No. It is as disjointed as Christianity, and you can't clump it all into a nutshell.
Buddhism? Now you are either ignorant or just lying. They plainly have unaccepted terms of sexual conduct, and some Buddhists find that to mean homosexuality.
Agnostics? 20% are against gay marriage.
Rock out with your cock out-but quit lying about your own multitude of faiths. Learn one before talking for them.
Episcopalians (definitely Christians) have gay priests and at least one gay bishop. So they apparently are a religion that condones homosexuality.
I'm pretty sure you are just trying to be sarcastic. So I should ask for your personal approval (because you are the ultimate arbitrator of other people's religions aparently) before attempting to summarize the one and perhaps only link shared by two very different religious traditions - that a practice of deep introspection is more relevant than an easily enumerated list of "these the rules" and as result both practices have embraced and been embraced by same-sex couples.
So are you or you wouldn't be on your computer judging people.
As for your unnatural comment, quite simply anything that happens in nature is natural. While I don't societally agree with this, what I think you meant to say was that homosexuality is abnormal. Anything that interferes with species' ability to reproduce and thus evolve is an abnormality. In that case most of what humans do is abnormal, including taking a single mate, curing diseases, or using air conditioners.
In that respect, if homosexuality is a reproductive abnormality it contributes less to the genetic dilution of our DNA than Christianity. Not that it matters to someone who doesn't believe in evolution. But if you truly are devout and believe in your religion, you'd be leaving judgment up to your God, unless you think he's incapable. In which case your playing God, and isn't playing God the ultimate sin?
