So lets see now , we have a "big bang" 2 billion years go by and a cell just happens....primordial ooze. Then after 2 1/2 billion more only one spicy of ape becomes human....but of course NO LINK. why don't we have walking, talking fish, or birds that drive cars??? dude you bought into another hoax, there has been many over the years.(the big freeze of the 70's,life on mars 90's and now man made GW) Ask yourself one short question, and be honest, lay your intellectual pride, aside ,what is the one difference between the human race and all other living things on earth??? BTW, why are you posting scientific BS in the faith section? Don't they have a science section or in this matter a HOAX section?

Discussing intelligent design with Humber was amusing as he had actual, albeit easily refuted, arguments to support his position. 2happy4u has no arguments, no support for his statements, nothing except for ridiculing science which he obviously does not understand.

What evidence can you offer to prove that evolution is a hoax?

I believed it for most of my life,was taught in in school, it sounds good to the human intellect and reason, but all thru the years I was also reminded that it was ONLY a theory and never proven, even your beloved History ch. won't step over the limb claiming to be fact. Years ago we read a book and Darwin the "creator of evolution" knew it was a Hoax. Search yourself, the proof is in you. Don't let pride stand in the way, as they say, it only hurts it never helps. shalom

I'm confused. Are you not human, without human intellect and reason? Pride isn't a characteristic brought about my scientific method, but it can be brought by blind allegiance. How is Evolution worthy of pride? It says we're an insignificant accident. Divinity is the definition of pride. Sorry, you're not that special, the Earth is round, and God's universe is a lot bigger than you thought.

how do you feel about gravity? it is "only a theory". do you think germs cause disease? Yup, that's only a theory too.

you do know that the big bang theory has nothing to do with the theory of evolution, right? They are two entirely different and unrelated theories.

This is clearly not Humber. Humber was deluded but used proper punctuation and grammar. Humber also presently what he considered evidence.

BTW, I just checked out Humber's Facebook page. Lots of relatively recent posts, many about proof of the flood, young earth theories, etc. No one contradicts him on Facebook. Guess that's why he doesn't come here anymore.

I have nothing against science, in fact its a wonderful thing! Look at all the anti-depression drugs we now have (happy pills), I don't mind that you place all your faith in it. That's your personal business. We send rockets to the moon,all good stuff. But the idea that all this happened by some big bang is outrageous. It's total chaos and then time and ONLY time has manifested all the beauty and awe of mother earth and all the universe and this, the only speck with abundant life. I didn't post here to bash your faith in science, but after reading your previous post some of you get highly upset of the faith of others.I understand you think you're the alpha & omega. So WHY do you post in this section? Is just to be mean spirited to others? Maybe you should start a section for science & humanism. I see people call each other trolls on this site, I guess you would be trolls. I wish you all a good evening and peace to all.

The big bang has been filmed. You can get pictures of it, courtesy of Einstein and the speed of light. The Big Bang Theory does not explain the beginning of time, it explains the state of the known universe. We don't have any ideas for what precipitated this event.

Hey Old south philly Mama, since you have nothing to add, why don't you find a bingo hall or the penny slots to fill your emptiness. I don't mean to be rude but you're making all sorts of crazy comments. Now back to the topic. So laying aside the big bang illusion, it leaves us with creation, so lets say a creator decides he wants to build a universe, lines up all the stars & planets, lays the earth in the one & only perfect spot, in its perfect orbit, around a perfect sun. Now after a billion years a single cell forms and after 3 1/2 billion years it evolved into a perfect human. With all the other life that roamed the earth only one species of monkey advanced to what we are to day. Someone spoke of a domesticated dog or cat and how long that took to achieve, a guess he never ran across a feral cat or dog.
