Default 1410 Montrose St.

Hello....

I am inquiring about the Safety for Montrose St. between Broad and 15th. I was looking at Real Estate in that area and was confused because some of the houses were great and others were "doubty" at best. Has anyone lived or no someone who has lived on this street? Any idea on the police reports?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Right section now. I can't speak to the question, though. It's a cul-de-sac block that ends at the McDonald's, which is cool in its own way.

City folk call those dead ends ;-) I always thought that was an odd block...esp the south side that back up to the McDs parking lot and the shed across the street.

I live a block away and would say it's a solid blopck if you can stand the smell of fries 18 hours a day.

Phbbbbt. Country folk call them dead ends, too. I was feeling all upscale and stuff when I called it a cul de sac.

They certainly know how to throw a party. This one's from 2006.

I'm a bit envious of the dead end--seems like a great block for kids to play due to very little traffic.

That's a great block. A good friend of ours lives there. In fact we learned how to play beer pong at her birthday/block party there this past year. Kinda neat how there's a shortcut to McDonalds for those late-night Big Mac Attacks too.
