Anderson Pool open & info?

Anyone know for sure if the pool is open now? (I've tried calling several times but just get voice message)
Also, anyone know what the designated hours are or where I could find that info? (nothing on their website.

As of yesterday there was no water in the pool, so I doubt its open. It usually takes them a couple days to fill it and get it cleaned. The city recently announced that all the pools were open for the summer but I've noticed a lot that are not up and running. Not like anyone would need a pool today and tomorrow. (And to be clear, that's the responsibility of the mayor's office and the city-wide Parks and Rec department, not the individual centers. I happen to think the staff at Anderson busts their butts to make the neighborhood a better place, especially given the very limited resources they and all other rec. centers have to contend with).

It looks like there is a brand new shiny,graffiti-free sign with hours and info hanging on the Catharine St. entrance so you can be prepared when they do open.

They actually announced that all pools WILL open [sometime] this Summer, but not all are open yet.

O'Connor opened yesterday and has free swim from 1-6 and adult swim from 6-7 on weekdays. I believe free swim from 1-5 on weekends.

They filled it up last night.
