Chester A. Arthur Playground Fund Raising

Recently there was a drive to raise money for the revamping of the playground at 20th and Catherine. I know some friends of mine and I contributed to that effort. There used to be a running tally that was visible to show how much money had been raised. I know that the $5000 was reached after about a week, are there any plans for when this money will be used? I ask because I recently moved a stones throw from the school and was dumbfounded by the shoddy blacktop and lack of space to do any recreational activity. Having seen other playground reforms (such as the one on 18th and Wallace in Fairmount) I was excited to see this space transformed as well. It seems there has been a great start recently, with the creation of the playground, but I was wondering if there was any more information on this program or what was needed to get it taken to the next step.
