The Christian Street YMCA is hosting our annual Splash Week from June 4-June 8, 2012. Every year the Y invites the community to join us for this fun, free event.

According to the CDC, drowning is the leading cause of accidental death for children ages 1-14 (second to car accidents), and it is almost always completely preventable. Splash is a great opportunity for kids and families to brush up on water safety and basic swim skills before the busy summer swim season. Classes are held for 30 minutes each day and each class includes swim instruction as well as a water safety topic, such as boat safety, back yard pool safety, beach safety, and sun safety. All classes are free and open to everyone, but pre-registration is required.
Classes each day at the following times:
Ages 3-5: 10:00 AM, 5:00 PM, or 5:30 PM
Ages 6-9: 5:00 PM, 5:30 PM
Family (all ages with parental participation in the water): 6:00 PM, 6:30 PM
