Just like the rest of the city the rec center is run by a bunch of lazy city employees that don't do their jobs.................ie never any clear path of snow, trash out front for days and not securing the facility during off hours. If I did my job like this I would of been fired a long time ago!!!!!!
Your job appears to be sitting in your basement, surfing the internet, and complaining about your neighbors. Here are some recent articles about work done by the staff at the center:

Once I see you contributing the same sort of energy and effectiveness towards improving the neighborhood maybe, just maybe, will I give you any credence. Right now you just appear to be an anonymous grouchy old man/woman without much to do but moan about your miserable life.

NO......I have a real job not like the rec employees that sit around doing nothin........GREAT THEY DO GOOD FOR THE BASEBALL TEAM........but last I check it is a rec center not a baseball team........maybe they SHOULD spend as much time as they do keeping the baseball field cleaned to take care of the rest of the place then nobody would be bitching on here.
By the way I live accross the the center and have to clean my house twice a week from the trash that comes from that place......Also I used to contribute to the neighborhood cleaning of that place till I noticed that knowbody that actually uses the place on a regualar basis ever helped clean the place along with the people that work there so why should I their job, they are the ones getting paid to take car of the place.......
by the way besides cleaning up after the people that use that place every week i clean from one end of my block to the other once a week with no help from any neighbors........so maybe u should get out and clean the rec center once in awhile then u would not find people bitching about what a dump the place is.........
Rather than contacting the rec center about this problem, you will be better off contacting the main office of Parks & Recreation at 215-683-3600. You should ask to speak to the regional manager or operations manager for that location. If that doesn't work, contact the office of your city council member.
