Help us plant 55 Trees on Saturday, November 19th

Neighbors – we NEED YOUR help to plant 55 trees throughout SWCC this coming Saturday, November 19!

You may have received the SOSNA notices or appeals from the two planting groups, but we’ve had an unusually low advance response from volunteers. Creating a green canopy for all to enjoy is a voiced priority from many – can you give us up to 3 hours to make this a reality?

When/Where

9:30 AM = SOSNA Green = will plant 35 trees. Meet behind the Christian Street YMCA, on Montrose between 17th/18th Sts

10:00 AM = Graduate Hospital West = will plant 20 trees. Meet in the Church parking lot at 22nd and Bainbridge St

If you have gloves and round (spade) shovels – bring them along though if you do not have, we can share!

Whether a Tree Tender, experienced tree planter or entirely new - please let us know which group you can join so we can map out our teams. Last minute volunteers are always welcomed, too!

Please help us recruit volunteers!! Ask your neighbors, business associates or school colleagues to join us on November 19 to plant trees!!!
