The Yarn Shoppe building, 1707 E Passyunk, is up for sale. 2 1BRs are included. $450K.
1707 East Passyunk Avenue, Philadelphia PA - Trulia
Really, what could they be doing that would disturb neighbors, who are not even on the same block? Seriously, it's on Passyunk, not on some tiny street.
As for complaining, good luck with that, I'd venture that the owners of SJ have a good bit more pull than whomever is doing the complaining.
According to some neighbors who live nearby, on the 1300 block of Moore, the live music emanating from SJ's is at a decibel over and above what's legal so that even with their doors and windows shut, they can still hear the music.
This certainly appears to be the case.

Sticks and Stones posted on their FB page today that they are working to renew their lease
Sad news: Artisan Boulanger Patissier is moving from their current half-block-from-my-house location all the way to the old Nino's Pasta at 1208 Mifflin. Although this means little to most of you, and may be a net positive to the area drawing foot traffic south and east a bit, I view this as an unmitigated tragedy. #FirstWorldProblems

I heard about this also and since I live on the block behind you I am equally sad. some days I don't even bother to go buy a coat to get bread. Super Tragedy.
The only way this could be mitigated is if whatever goes there is AWESOME! But it will be a tall order to fill the shoes of ABP......which coincidentally is the same abbreviation I use for Au Bon Pain which is almost blasphemous.

So has anyone tried the latest iteration of the restaurant that now calls itself Green Olives on the block across the vacant Colombo's? I had lunch there once time last January when it was Mondial and really enjoyed it; I remembering having delicious homemade chicken soup and a slice of spinach pie. Am wondering why it just doesn't catch on. Do you think it's because it's on the tail end of the Avenue?
