RKO video opened on New Years Day and they are still filling the shelves. They offer DVDs, comic books, music lessons and more. Located in the mid 1600 block of E Passyunk Ave.
The interior shot is of the Black & Brew. This my favorite spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. Food is good, fast and inexpensive. They have been open for some time now but I thought I would shill for them. Located at 1523 E Passyunk, near the fountain.

Under the category of "Other," I'd like to point out the East Passyunk Crossing Town Watch and Civic Association, which covers the area from Tasker to Snyder, Broad to Eighth. For more info, see: epcrossing.org

For the blue collar folks who like a shot and a beer after work, Oregon Ave., East Side style.
#1 Fireseide Tavern. Marshall and Oregon.
No happy hour specials, but, a great barmaid, Cindy, Wed. Thur. and every other Friday, and every Sunday for you real Alcoholics, daytime hours. 7-5 (Yeah, 7 am)
$3.50 (any) bombs (you can't find that anywhere in the city)
$2.75 bottles or pints (no craft or wierdo hipster brews, sorry, stay away) and $2.00 pints and bottles ANY sporting event.
A great neighborhood crowd where everyone gets along, remember, this is between 6th and 7th, aka badlands, but not this far South, this is Oregon Ave., we all get along, seriously.
#2 Nickles Tavern. 2/Oregon
Same as Fireside without the cheap bombs, still a great bar.
#3 AnneMarie's. 7/Oregon
Same as the first two, again, w/out the bombs.
#4 Cookies. 10/Oregon.
Same as the top three, again, w/out the bombs, BUT, if you like to drink early hours, I'm talking night shift crew from the food center, or if you wake up w/ the shakes, you can come here at 5:30 AM and hang w/ John the bartender and watch him get mad and yell at the news, good times, w/ out fail.
