Well, it's time for me to get my first tattoo--any recommendations on where I should go in the area? Any advice on what to expect/look for? Thanks!

Her work is great, it's just that she had to do portraits of your white trash family so she was limited by her subject matter.

Definitely go to Old City. Been going to Goldberg for 12 years and I trust those guys completely.

She wants the word love on her, not a tripped out zombie with bleeding eyes and foreskin. Yes, Goldberg is cool but there's not really a reason to make an appt in two months for what is a typical walk in tattoo.

I can plainly tell you that they are ugly people. She worked in the North East for years-need I say more? hahahahaha

Yah, you're right. I mis-remembered where she said she worked at the zoning meeting last year. She used to work at Northern Liberties Tattoo, not Old City. Apparently the process of Northern Liberties turning into Old City has already happened in my mind.

She worked on South Street for a little over a year during the lengthy zoning process and renovation of that building. Yep, prior to that she worked in Nolibs and in the northeast before that. Nicest lady on the planet and one of my dearest friends.
