I hereby nominate this (Artic vs. LIN, not Ori vs. KJ) as the most boring feud in all of PS. Interesting people, boring fight.
Back to the topic at hand... would it be fair to demonstrate that Kenyatta is a flip flopper?
I mean he decided to go to an anti-gentrification rally who's stated mission on its flyer is basically the elimination of Newbold as an identity. That would presumably also include the two RCO's that are there who are recognized by the City Planning Commission.
So does Kenyatta want to eliminate Newbold Neighbors?
"Hello organized neighbors and business owners, I'm your councilman and I think your entire neighborhood should cease to exist. In fact, down do any park clean up projects, shut down your businesses and move. Because you aren't real 'long term residents'. I know because I just moved to the neighborhood myself 6 months ago."
Its quite a compelling campaign strategy.

Yeah but KJ only won by 59 votes. I bet more than 59 newcomers will settle into the neighborhood before 2015. I'm only a tourist in Philly(I live in Harrisburg but have a tiny condo in Center City for weekends and the like) but i'll be sure to give money to anyone who runs against KJ in the next election.
If a serious candidate came forth and just organized a campaign on this site they would have a plethora of supporters just like you who would not hesitate to donate time and money. Even though I don't live in PB, or even the city limits, I'd jump on it, because I want to see this city improve to its full potential. Unfortunately, it's an uphill battle against an entrenched political system, and it's going to take a few years in transitional neighborhoods like this before the machine is disassembled.
I seriously doubt KJ actually won the election, and I point to the numerous instances of overcounts at polling stations in the area.
Overcounts mean somebody at the polling station, or before or after the polling station, put a bunch of votes on the machine.
