    Default EPX Zoning Meeting, Wed 8/22: 1843-1845 E Passyunk Avenue (King of Jeans)

    East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association will be holding their zoning meeting on Wednesday,August 22nd at 7:00PM at the EPX Center @ 1729 S 11th St. (Enter through gate on 11th St. just north of Neumann-Goretti H.S./Moore St. Office is in 2nd yellow-brick building on left.) All neighbors are welcome.

    1843-5 E Passyunk Ave

    Twelve (12) one-bedroom units with first floor commercial at the King of Jeans building.

    I couldn't make it to the EPX zoning meeting last night and am wondering how it went. Did anyone ask the apartment developer about trash disposal?

    Yes. Commercial trash pickup (2-3 week) and trash chutes on each floor leading to an indoor trash room.

    This is an interesting idea. No doubt these apartments will do well, and maybe it'll be another stone in the paving of the new Passyunk Ave. I wonder how much they'll cost?

    Around $1K. They range in size from 680-900 square feet.

    That's all? Man, I know people who paid that in much less desirable parts of South Philly (Re 20th and Passyunk, or near the Airport in Southwest)...not bad.
