    Default Hit & Run

Anybody see or hear the nasty hit & run on the 1100 block of Mifflin? 2 cars were totaled, story goes, Drunk leaves corner bar at 2am, slams into parked VW, that creams a new honda in front. One person reported it was the dude from varallo's at 10th & morris in the hit & run car. I guess without a tag number the point is mute.

It was my VW that was hit. It must've happened after 5am when my friend left for work. He would've noticed my car smashed and all over the street. My car was hit high enough that it must've been a truck/SUV. If anyone knows who did it, please tip the police. I'd hate for my car's death to go unavenged.

It was reported at 2am as far as I know by text message, Your VW looked pretty bad. I hear it was a red "Classic Car" The white Honda was smacked hard also. Your only shot is if somebody has a video.

I don't know anything about the accident; just wondering if the VW is the light metallic-green New Beetle I see frequently parked on that block.

I hear the guy turned himself in with his lawyer. The lady with the Honda went to the 3rd dist. and was told "we can't help you if nobody was killed or injured". They claim they don't do follow up reports on accidents. Where did he go to turn himself in? How would you find out if it is true or not?
