Hi Everyone,

I would like to get wainscotting for the smallest bedroom in my row home (tiny room). Can anyone shed some light on how much wainscotting installation usually cost? I have a handyman coming in next week to give me a quote and I would like to have an idea on how much this usually runs.

I'd guess it varies a lot by the style you choose... beadboard w/ cap, moulding mitered to make rectangles or the really nice stuff w/ raised paneling.

I have mixed feelings about putting up that stuff. MDF is so soft, I almost feel like the drywall underneath is almost more resistant to getting dinged up than that stuff, so don't put it up expecting it to "protect" the wall.

Its only for decoration. My walls are sturdy.
