Went last night. Place looked cool, lots of wood, very open. Downside of it's openness is that it's going to feel _very_ empty when it's not busy. Very good beer list. Happy hour 4-7 Monday - Friday, and then additional one I can't remember on the weekend. Not sure how that squares with PLCB rules, but I'm not going to complain...

Had the brisket burger. I wouldn't get it again. Brisket's a weird cut to be used in a burger: no juice.

My wife got that also and was very disappointed. Our server was nice enough to get her the pulled BBQ duck instead and took the burger off the bill. The duck was awesome, as was the Kentucky Fried hen that I had. Got a Shipwrecked IPA off the beer engine which was fantastic. Overall a great experience. The background music was good too.

Brisket is actually used in burgers by a lot of chefs to provide inexpensive, tasty, fatty meat. Because it's so fatty it should be pretty juicy if it's not overcooked.

I went Saturday nice just to check out the scene and loved it! I just grabbed the General Tso's Wings which were huge, juicy and tasted perfect! Had the Jackie Boy cocktail which was a nice strong pour, that mixed with the Allagash had me a bit buzzed lol, I'll be back for sure!

I've been here four times since its opening Wednesday ... three for dinner and once for brunch. Everything has been great - and even during brunch (I got there near the later part - they serve brunch til 4) I watched as the crowd thinned and the place really didn't feel empty. Those tables that were occupied became more personal - and the bar has its own distinct feeling since y'all are facing the 'tender... I think it'll do well (i know I am now a regular! hahaha!)

I went last Friday for a late dinner and it was excellent. The menu is unique and everything was delicious. Farro salad, fried green tomatoes, whipped tofu dip and freshly made potato chips...OMG, yes please!! My friends tried the bone marrow and while I'm not in to that, it's a pretty interesting option. The inside looks great. I like how they put the large communal table behind the bar. Service was great too, even though it was pretty crowded.

Is it really farro? Or do they use spelt?

Yeah I see it on the menu as farro, but farro is often mistranslated as spelt, which is a completely different grain. I'll have to check it out.

    Seriously... Farro or spelt?!?!?!?!
Here's an idea... Shut up, stop asking dull a$$ questions, and start living life.
Ever heard of YOLO?! Do it.... you probably really need to live a little.

You almost sound like LIN trying to create the most banal noise possible.

Looked and tasted like the farro that I buy via bulk at Wholefoods and make at home. It was farro.

Lin has been known to ask dull a$$ questions, loves spelt/farro, and YOLOs like a motherf'er. Or so I've heard.
