    No problem, I'm exited about the festival! We've always had a terrific time. They're predicting rain this week; I hope things clear up by Saturday!

    It's always fun and an opportunity to over-eat. Looks like the five-day is calling for partly cloudy in the low 70s, fine weather for the festival.

    Sounds like great weather! I hope the forecast proves accurate. I can't wait to stuff myself silly.

    If it gets boring (which it usually does), come on over to our event only blocks west of it;
    Sunday, May 16th 1-5pm there's a live free concert event at the Concert Garden located at 2056-58 Ellsworth Street, Phila. PA 19146

    The event is sponsored by some great local companies such as At Media, Paddy Whacks, Pub Webb, Raven Lounge, Mexican Post, Penn Distributors, Black Walnut Winery and more. Enter our raffle to win $50 gift certificates, gift baskets and a wine/cheese pairing for 6!

    Admission is free, but you must purchase tickets for food and drink. A donation of $5 gets you 3 tickets! All proceeds go toward PBPioneers and the Neighborhood Gardens Association.

    Hey thanks, but you know, it never gets boring to enjoy a nice atmosphere and ambience with nice people and good food. But thanks for thinking of us.

    Please don't post the same thing 6 (edit - 9) times. One post in the Events section is perfect. Also, why post the above in a thread about the 9th St Festival? It looks tacky.

    Ya know, I might have actually been motivated to check this out if you had posted this in a positive way without ragging on the Italian Market festival (which does not, in fact, get boring).

    Hunh????

    Amarie already did post about the Point Breeze concert: here

    Then went on to post about it again on an unrelated thread and proceeded to mock the event the thread is about. I'm just trying to give a little helpful advice: You aren't winning anyone over to your cause by insulting them.

    I'm looking forward to the festival but have no desire to travel to no-man's land for some concert. There will be at least one band at the festival & that's good enough for me.

    You and your pioneer friend Amarie posted the same thing 13 times on this forum. 13 times. One thread stands in the Events section, where it belongs. When you have an event to promote, you post it there. We all know that you are the 'Pioneers' of Point Breeze, but it looks really bad when you desperately spam a forum, continue to spam the forum after being asked not to do so, make fun of a long standing SPhilly event then (try to) diss the admin of said forum after they obviously let 1 thread, and 1 duplicate post stand.

    Not cool. No one ragged on your event or tried to promote another in your thread.

    there is a flower festival of some sort (italian-based) coming in june. It will be along much of passyunk. If anyone wants more details I'll dig them up. I know the guy organizing it. They need to raise $8,000 or the event doesn't happen. If anyone wants to buy raffles let me know. First price is $1,000, second place is 500 and 3rd is 250.

    there is going to be live bands, the restaurants will be in full swing, and tons of flowers...
