Default Public landfill?

I recently bought a house on 13th St and I've been demoing much of it. I've worked up quite a lot of construction garbage, way more than I'll be able to get rid of with weekly trash pickups. I know years ago there used to be a dump/landfill on Delaware Ave just south of Oregon (close to the Walt Whitman). They would weight your truck when you came in and weigh it when you left and charge you accordingly. Does anyone know if this landfill is still open to the public and if so where I can find out some information about it? I tried searching for "Philadelphia landfills" but wasn't able to find any info.

If not, does anyone know how much a dumpster rental costs roughly?

Thanks in advance.

Wow, really? Nothing? Nobody has any knowledge about this facility or any other public accessible dumps/landfills?

There are three "sanitation convenience centers" listed on the dept. of streets website. They are free for city residents, but they won't take construction debris. The website says for that, you need to contract with a private hauler. Years ago I dumped up near Boyertown with one of those drive on scale things.

Hey Fraction what did you end up doing? Did BFI work out for you?

I have a similiar question. The concrete block "fence" in the back of my house is leaning into the alley. This came up in the inspection when we bought the house months ago but it wasn't a dealbreaker. See pic:

On the Sunday before Memorial Day my Father-in-law is coming in from the Allentown area with his big pickup truck to help me take it town block by block. He has asked me to find a site that we can drop off the blocks. He said any place that accepts "clean fill" will do.

I found Burns in my searching but they aren't open Sunday. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Thank you!

Sorry to bump this but we are going to try and get this done on Sunday. Does anybody have an idea of where we can take these blocks locally that will be open OR know of some guys with a truck that will take them for a reasonable fee? I am looking under labor/moving on craigslist now and see some options but don't trust using someone without a referral.

My father-in-law found a place up near where they live that we can dump them for free because the site is collecting "clean fill", but that is a lot of driving back and forth etc.

Thanks!
