We just found a cat that obviously belongs to someone. S/he is icy now. Looks like she's been out through the storm and has on a little green or blue collar.
IS THIS YOUR KITTY??? It is super sweet and should not be on the street.
We have. She is in our laundry room, safe and warm. We already have 3 cats or we would keep her. Very Very sweet cat. There is no doubt she is a house cat.
If you live in this area (we found her at 20th and Wolf), PLEASE ask your neighbors if they lost a cat.
We are going to have to take her to PAWS soon if we cannot find her owner, because our own cats are starting to realize that there is a stranger in the house.

After only a day?
I once had a cat in the house of a month waiting for an owner :P

I found one that looks just like this one 2-1/2 yrs ago. She's turned out to be the smartest cat we've ever had - very strong willed, but totally independent and yet devoted - anticipates us humans and the other cats (we have a total of 6 ) to stay ahead of us. Great cat! My husband's favorite! I hope you find her former or, perhaps preferably, a new owner.
Thanks for asking! No news yet. We have put up flyers all over the neighborhood and have received no response. She is still living in our laundry room and just seems happy to be inside and to have food. My boyfriend and I take turns going in and playing with her. We don't want to have to take her to paws so we are going to keep trying for now. Maybe we can find her a new owner. She is sooooo sweet. We are keeping our fingers crossed!
We are going to try to get her in this weekend to check for that. Also, maybe since the weather is nicer now, we can re-flyer and people might actually see them! Fingers crossed.

Chances are good someone put her outside and just didn't care what happened to her. Your best bet would be getting her to a vet or low-cost spay/neuter clinic and putting her up for adoption. There's a whole adoption kit to help you on the City Kitties website.
