i opened my mailbox last week to find a package that was way too big stuffed in there so tightly i almost couldn't get it out. funny thing is, the carrier had to put it thru the top slot on the box which is, well, a slot. i guess he couldn't read the giant red "FRAGILE" on both sides of it. bastard.

Success! I called the number they gave me (direct to the Post Office) and they found my package yesterday. Went in this morning, had a short wait of about 5 minutes and actually got my package!! Needless to say I am surprised.

Anyone been to the B free franklin "post office" in old city? THAT is a bad post office. All they do is sell stamps! How can someone that only sells stamps be so nasty?!
I went to the dickinson PO the other day at 8:30, no line, the lady was very nice to me and even pulled out all the available stamps so that I could pick the one I wanted. I have been there with the never-moving line and they definately are under-staffed.
But it's not as bad as the old city one...

    3) Put the UPS tracking number into the website and it responded with an error.

This guy is a mess. He's friendly, but absolutely horrible at delivering anything. He routinely leaves packages at the wrong houses on my block. Last week he rang my doorbell and left my box under a bunch of others on his handtruck, and then ran down the street to attempt to deliver another package (he tried three different houses before reading the address). Why ring the doorbell if he's going to be down the block? Why not wait? Another time he just walked in my front door with my package as I was unlocking it. I have a big dog, so I wasn't alone, but still uncomfortable as a woman. His other annoying thing is leaving boxes, including 30 pounds of dog food, on an aluminum bar holding up my awning. It's up pretty high, and I can't reach the boxes most of the time. It's also unsettling to see a huge box sitting on a little railing.

The old guy was much better, and just left stuff inside my storm door once I told him it was okay because I just buy dog food and other inexpensive items. I never had any problems with him or with theft, and would much rather deal with the risk that someone would take a package than worry my awning with fall off and hurt someone or having this guy walk inside my house.

I have to say that the one down at Snyder plaza was a breeze compared to the Dickinson one.
