You can search for single posts using Advanced Search.

Click the tab "Search Single Content Type" and at the bottom tick the box for "Show Results as: Posts" and that should work.

It just happened to me. I saw you had replied and when I opened the thread, your response did not appear until I refreshed. I am also using a laptop
