Hi, this is my first post. I run a website design and development business, based in Manayunk. Are there any opportunities for me to purchase ad space on philadelphiaspeaks.com?

I haven't seen an answer to this yet, so I thought I'd reply. I would also like to know about advertising or becoming of "friend" of the site.

They partner with google for their ads. You can create a google adsense account and then specifically target this website to display your ads.

Same here.

I think BlogAds (Blog advertising makes opinions -) might be a good candidate, Geekadelphia uses them. They have options for simple flat-rate pricing for placement on the site.
