Another elderly dog being surrended to the shelter Hopefully he'll find a home.

**URGENT!** This handsome, brown-eyed boy is named Bishop (A18730851)! Bishop is a 15 year old American Pit Bull Terrier mix who was surrendered to the shelter because his family had a new baby and could no longer care for a dog.... Bishop is very confused about why he's now in a shelter and is a bit anxious while adjusting to shelter-life. Despite this, Bishop is putting his best foot forward and is hoping for a new, loving retirement foster or adoptive home! Bishop is a petite guy who has no problems getting around and walks well on the leash. He doesn't mind being pet all over and especially loves chin scratches. Besides having some regular senior dog ailments, Bishop appears to be in good health! He may have a bit of a hard time seeing detail due to mild cataracts and may be a bit hard of hearing, but loves to solicit attention from his staff and volunteer friends. Bishop was a bit shy when meeting other dogs here at the shelter, but its likely due to the fact that he is still adjusting to his surroundings. He'd do well in a home with other low-key dogs! Please bring yours down to meet him. Please consider providing him a comfy foster or adoptive home and he will repay you with lots of sloppy senior kisses! The shelter is no place for a senior dog like Bishop and he needs out immediately!
