Permit Parking near 21st and Sansom

Hello im new to the area and I'm recently heard about permit parking in the city, but the streets get so crowded here. Anyone know what permit number I would get in this and where I could actually find a place where I could find parking at night on a weekday?

I dont mind walking if it will save me money from using a garage.

You are zone 1, which gives you everything from Market to Washington, Broad to the River. You'll need to go over to 3101 Market between 8:30am and 5pm. Bring a copy of your car registration that shows your address (your car must be registered to your Philly address) and a check.

The angle parking on Sansom between 23rd and 24th is good. 24th and 25th between Locust and South usually have openings too.

This is the route I used to take when I was at 22nd and Walnut. I'd usually find a spot within 1 or 2 loops around it.

Make sure you read the signs. You can park anywhere that there is a sign that says "EXCEPT ZONE 1" beneath the sign listing the restrictions.

afaik parking permits are limited to residents, and your car must be registered in the city. If you don't fall in this category you may run into problems, otherwise you are golden.
Alternatively if you just need a few days worth check out the daily permits on the same website.
