Default Relocating fresh out of college

Hello everyone. My name is Matt and I plan on moving out to downtown Philadelphia in the next few months after I graduate. I am not from the area and do not know much about the apartment market in Philly. I will be doing the reverse commute out to Malvern for work during the week. I have not yet figured out if this will be by public transportation or my car. From my initial research and talking to friends/family, I think the Center City area is the place I want to be in. I am looking for any advice on apartment buildings in Center City to begin my hunt. Thanks!

When are you moving? Looking for a lease starting in the beginning of June
Where are you coming from? Penn State (state college, pa)
Why are you moving? new job
Where will you be working? malvern
Have you been here yet? never

Will you buy or rent? rent
If renting, are you looking for an apartment, a townhouse or loft? How much can you spend? looking for a 2 bedroom apartment (already have a roommate). Can spend up to $2400 total, looking to stay under $2000 if possible
Do you prefer hi-rise or walk up? no preference
What areas were you considering? Prefer to be in Center City area

Are you married or single? Do you have children? Single, no kids
    Do you have pets? no
Do you want or need a yard? no, wouldnt mind a balcony though
Are you keeping a car? yes
Do you prefer bustling activity or calm and quiet? bustling activity with a lot going on

What do you want to be closest to?
public transportation to work (close access to the Paoli Regional Rail)
    Basic services (supermarket, drugstore, etc.)
    Nightlife important
    green space/parks

Do you want to live with people of a similar age, race, religion or sexual preference or do you prefer a diverse neighborhood? looking for an area with similar young working professionals like myself
