    Default Little Fish Inspection

I admit I have a bit of a bias towards this place anyway, but this report is sickening:

Whoa ... usually you see a few violations relating to mice (really, in the city its nearly impossible to keep them entirely at bay), but that's one long, long, long ass list.

the city is changing the way they do restaurant inspections, and i think that is why a lot of places seem to be doing poorly, as they adjust to the new inspection methods. looking at the little fish review, it seems they got nailed for some things out of their control (like the slow going reconstruction of their exterior wall)

seems like a lot of other places have been having trouble lately too...

They've been really nailing some places in Old City inspecting them 3 times in 3 months. This is the second followup inspection to SoHo Pizza/ Chelsea Lounge and they still haven't gotten it right.

Food employees observed not wearing or wearing ineffective hair restraints, such as nets, hats, or beard restraints.
Is this for servers as well?

Reading through these reports makes me glad I'm not a restaurant owner.

i apologize. i still eat there. they usually just wipe their forearms on their heads. not their hands atleast. and that oven is so friggin hot it would kill any bacteria that may land on the dough. pizza guys never wear gloves anyway. ever get a slice on the boardwalk? tastes great...but dont watch them make it. sweaty pigs.

St. Stephen's report had fresh mouse dropping on the meat slicer. I don't think it get's much worse than that!
