I checked Primo Hoagie's website and it says they are coming soon to South Street! It would be interesting to see where, and if the numbnut associations fight their takeout variance.

Wow, they really grew that business. Never knew they had that many locations all over PA, NJ, DE. They're in Maryland and Virginia too.
From what I understand, they told that guy he'd never make it at that original Ritner location. Oops.![]()
"Ask not what your country can do for you". Yeah right.
One of my favorite hoagies places..![]()
Hope it's open later then the other city locations.

I think the reason Primos succeeds in areas with other good hoagie shops is twofold. One, they have a pretty good product. Not cheap, but good. Two, they have longer hours than many locally owned shops. Witness the success of Primos in Roxborough that is two blocks down from hoagie heaven, Lenny's. Primos has made money because of Lenny's more limited hours.
I can agree with that. I still prefer Lenny's or Sarcone's but sometimes I don't decide to have a hoagie for dinner before 4!!!
Primos is probably our best local chain at this point, period. Consistently delicious hoagies and good ingredients and if someone starts going off on how their rolls are too tough I want to preemptively say "**** you and your dentures grandpa".
Whats every one think of Jersey Mikes? Ever have one? There one in 30th st station. We love em. Maybe even better then Primo.., Roast beef hoagie is super good. Try one. The cheese steaks are good too
