gunshots early in the morning

Anyone hear maybe three or four loud gunshots around 3:45 in the morning? There was maybe 10-20 second between each shot. I'm not 100% sure they were gunshots but they seemed like it. I'm near 10th and Fitzwater.

Hmmm ... i was woken by dog barking at about that time, but I didn't hear any shots.

yeah. i heard. i'm near 8th and Bainbridge. i heard two shots....or what i assume were gunshots...this was at 3:42 a.m.

I heard them, too (13th and Bainbridge)... around 3:45ish. It actually woke me which is pretty difficult to do! They didn't seem to have the 'pop-pop' sound of a gunshot, but more of a louder bang. In any case, yes... i heard them and they were pretty loud!

oh, also the other thing that seemed strange to me was the timing between the noises. it was like 10 seconds... usually the gunshots i've heard are in quicker intervals.

Right. It was strange. The intervals between the shots seemed almost uniform, that is why I thought it may not have been a gun. Either that it was a very good shot.

I heard them too- we are near 8th and Christian. Police car parked in lot of new condos on Christian b/t 8th and 9th this morning at 6:15 ish. Didn't look like a crime scene but wondering if police presence is related to ?gunshots. Sounded close to 8th and Christian in proximity when we heard them.

It was very loud at broad and catharine, but i could tell it was pretty far away. It sounded more like a cannon then a gun. Woke the baby up right away.

How do you know it was at exactly 3:42? You seem to be an an anally rententive prick. Instead of staying up listenting for "gunshots" you best mind your own damn beeswax and go the hell to bed.

What probably happened is that the poster heard the shots and simply looked at his/her bedside clock...you dolt.
