Naked woman screaming in the street this morning on 11th near Carpenter

At about 6:15 this morning I heard a woman screaming outside my house and also heard a man's voice yelling back at her. When I finally spotted the source it turned out to be a naked woman in the middle of the intersection screaming at a car stopped at the light. When I went upstairs to get a better look I saw another woman chase her into a house across the street.

The cops finally came en force at least 5 minutes after I called, even though they're all of 4 blocks away. Seemed to be approaching the house very cautiously. Does anyone know anything about the incident? There were a couple of men standing in the street waiting for the cops to come after I saw her get herded into the house.

It freaked me out completely and I still can't shake it. Want to know what happened to that woman...

I'm not sure if its a drug house or not- it definitely was not one of the nicer ones on the block, but I feel like it's the house where I sometimes see old men sitting around listening to the ballgame outside. The whole thing was just really freaky, and it sounded like she was yelling and arguing with someone she knew at first, night have been the car in the intersection that I saw. Just crazy...

Not the same house, asked my better half last night and he's way better with that stuff than I am. We both thought about it, though, and have NEVER seen anyone coming or going from the house in question. It's the one with the red door on the east side of 11th St, close to the Carpenter St corner on the 1000 block.

That's a disturbing story, especially when you say you'd never previously seen anyone coming or going from that house. Hope the police looked into it more than cursorily.

It was a truly awful thing to witness and I've been on edge walking around town ever since. Honestly thinking of moving to the suburbs.

The paramedics took the woman away on a gurney so hopefully if something awful was going on there, she will talk about it. There were a million cops going in and out, and no one was arrested, so it's probably not what our imaginations would lead us to believe, but you never know...
