Need Studio or 1 BR Apt

In Bella Vista or slightly south of Washington starting in August or September 1. CraigsList doesn't have any listings & I don't know where else to look. Older, quiet tenant with 2 cats. Help!

landlord is trying to kill me with gas leaks & explosions,. causing glass to embed itself in my leds & feet. She also tuns the electric off & & on at will. I have to bet out before she causes more harh. Anybody out there with a studio/1BR for rent ? .

I don't know what you mean. Why shouldn't I find a place to live? We go to court next month for her illegal actions. Are you saying I'm I don't deserve housing because the landlord is always right?

What he means is that, judging by the tone of your postings here (and not just the ones in this thread), a potential landlord may perceive you to be a loon and/or a troublemaker and may prefer a tenant who is less of a drama queen.

. Thanks fit the link. I'm getting the feeling from other posters that the landlord is always right & I don't stand a chance. I'll find a place with or without the ill feelings .

good luck iheart. there are few things that put people over the edge than having landlord troubles/finding new housing. moving is awful.

i'd rent to you - if you've called L&I and already have a court date you sounds like you'll have it covered.

There is a huge thread on here somewhere by someone else who went through hell that contains a lot of info on tenants rights. Check it out.

I don't know who is right or wrong in your situation, regardless you should be treated with respect.

I don't know any poster on here that hasn't gone over the top at one point of another.

Good luck and I would try craigslist.

As a landlord, it's the tenants who pay out bills. So more times than not a good landlord will defer to the needs of a tenant so long as they are reasonable. You shouldn't have trouble finding suitable housing on CL as long as you broaden your search area to outside of your current neighborhood. Good luck. Not all of us landlords are scumbags.
