Default Suggestions for a small birthday party venue?

I'm planning my son's 7th birthday and it's going to be a Jedi Training Academy...with robes, lightsabers, Darth Vader, etc.

I need an open empty indoor space on June 10 for about 2 hours - and weccacoe and old pine are already booked for that date.

Everything else is in the $400 range. (Magic Garden, Old Swedes...)

Does anyone have any creative ideas or maybe a hookup or even own an empty building I could use/rent?

Thank you, I will. And may the force be with you.

How about Seger, Starr or Palumbo?

Thanks, Marc. Waiting for calls back...but I'm going to assume they will be booked already as well. Crossing fingers but need backup options. Darth Vader is already booked!

Try Fleischer Art Memorial Building on Catherine and 8th (unless that sex party group is renting out the chapel that day).

    Philly Kids Gym.

We have had a few BDay parties there. Great space, full kitchen and area for adults to hang and not lose their minds/hearing. Also super convenient to Whole Foods/Super Fresh across the way. Give Duncan a call.

The kids area has all forms of padded gym and tumbling equipment so would work pretty well for a full blown Jedi battle.

Sorry just realized that PKG is probably beyond the price point you were looking for.

May not be what you want but I have had summer birthdays in the park for free. Bring a cooler, a cake and a few balloons and the kids are happy so is my pocket.

That was my original plan...and still might be. But I'm worried if it rains I won't have back up. I have Darth Vader coming (with a real friggin suit and lightsaber) to surprise and fight my son. I would hate for all of that to get jeopardized because of weather.

Old Pine is booked. I'm looking at Settlement now...

On another note, I discovered this in case anyone is ever looking for this sort of thing...it's also booked on my date.

What about a community room at one of the local churches? I've held my sons' parties at a similar space for about $150 in rent.

Maybe one of the neighborhood gyms will let you rent a yoga/exercise studio or racquetball court.

Thanks for the help everyone - a time slot opened up at Arts Parlor, so we're in!

Edited because I also found this http://www.phillyspacefinder.com/ in case anyone else needs it.

*Los Angeles wedding venue is best among the other party venues that are good to celebrate the parties and events. Many new couples gave the best reviews for this.
