A group of between 20 and 25 will be meeting on Fabric Row for shopping and lunch. While there are plenty of great restaurants in the area, as I recall they are quite small. Any ideas where a large group could meet? Thanks!

Bridget Foy's at 2d & South; across the street from it, Paddywhacks; La Fourno on the 600 block of South. These all have 2d floors which can easily accommodate your group.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I will investigate all three.
You could also check out New Wave Cafe on 3rd and Catherine. They have a large dining area that may be able to accommodate.
Beau Monde at 6th and Bainbridge would be roomy enough.
If your group doesn't mind walking a few blocks to South and 9th St., Percy Street BBQ has plenty of room, too.
Beau Monde would be perfect! They aren't as busy for lunch, and this time of year is so beautiful in there with the fire place going. Thanks for reminding me of it.
Famous has the separate area that can hold 20-some people, but after I eat there? I sure as heck don't feel like walking around! hehehe
Oh yeah, after eating a six-egg omelet, or a reuben the size of your head...time to go home and veg the eff out!
Famous is really the type of place where you get your food, cut a piece off to eat and take the rest home. Not very conducive to shopping afterwards.
Yardbird's party could get just one sandwich, and each enjoy a shrimp! Along with 20 sides of health salad.
It's cole slaw! Famous does it all right, but the portion is teeny tiny. What kind of soup, the matzo ball soup? Despite living with a Jewish guy for 13 years, I've yet to warm up to matzo. Plus the matzo balls at Famous are weirdly huge and gray...EWW.
You can't go wrong with that pastrami, though. I used to love getting the pastrami cheesesteak, but I had to stop that. I don't want to die.
Yeah... matzo soup. I really don't know why I like it, but I do.
Why would anyone buy coleslaw when they give it to you for free with pickles before you even order? Sometimes I get full from the plate of pickles and coleslaw before I even get my order! hehehe
I literally do the pastrami dog once a year. Like you said-otherwise, I'd die.
Waves hand...not a fan of Famous Deli.

I was checking out the fabric stores the other day and had to talk myself out of Famous Deli.LOVE pastrami and corned beef but can't stand the need to drink a gallon of water for hours after I eat either.
GET REAL. Comedy you can believe...
