I just wanted to tell my PhillySpeak friends about a sidewalk sale my partner and I are doing later today (Sunday, Oct 16 from 11am-4pm) at the corner of 4th and Dickinson Streets.

Those of you who know my partner John, know his life-long obsession with music; from developing a personal collection as a kid, to co-owning Spaceboy Records on South Street for a decade, John has always surrounded himself with song.

The time has come to liquidate some of his impressive CD collection; partly to make room for new items and also to spread the joy of musical discovery! Over 2,000 CDs will be for sale!

Here's the thing: if you know John, you know his passion for embracing the indie, unknown and unique. John would spend hours DIGGING in CD bins and collections trying to discover a new sound.

So, sure - there will be some obvious classics in the sale mix, but if you're a fan of music... a fan of taking a chance on an unknown... a fan of indie bands of all genres trying to be heard over the commercial hype...

THIS IS YOUR SALE!

And remember, with every disc comes a new musical discovery!

Select discs will be $5, many more at just $1 each and a good selection of the discs can be yours at just '4 for a Buck'!
