Please Help -- Parking Without a Permit

Hello,

I am getting a new car on Saturday morning; it will be at least Monday until I can get a permit.

I live at 2nd and Monroe -- where's the best place to park without a permit? What about south of Washington, on Front?

I would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Up around 5th and passyunk area. Around 2nd and Fulton. If you wanted it near you, you could probably go to the PPA and get a guest permit for $15.

300 Block of Catharine and the 400 Block of Queen do not have permit parking. Advise parking well before 6:00 p.m. if you expect to find anything. One side on the 400 Block of Monroe may also be non permit, but I am not sure. May be the side with the school.

Depending on how often you plan on moving it, parking on or around 8th St. south of Catharine wouldn't be an unreasonable walk.

Saturday's really your only issue. Most neighborhoods are unrestricted on Sunday.
