As a newer resident of Q.V. I enjoy getting out, taking in the sights, meeting neighbors and hearing stories about the history of the neighborhood. With that said, I found these 2 sites that I thought others may enjoy. The first is from the Philadelphia historical society website and details the history of the neighborhood and the second is a Philly history photo archive. You can just type your or any address in the search field and check out this pics. It's pretty cool if your able to find historic photos of your or friends homes. Well, I hope you enjoy it and if anyone has any other historical sites, books etc that they know of please share. I'd love to see 'em.
