Default SEPTA route submissions are due soon

SEPTA | Request for New Submissions for FY 2014 Annual Service Plan

We invite you to submit ideas related to SEPTA route changes or additions. These submissions will be included in our evaluation process for possible changes for Fiscal Year 2014. Project implementation would be contingent upon available funding.
Once again, we would ask that submissions be sent by August 31, 2012. Submissions must be sent in writing to the address below, or by e-mail to serviceplanning@septa.org.
Let's see if we can get a PS-inspired route accepted. I put in my 40m proposal:

I'm going to tell you right now Locust St isn't going to happen as no buses go down Locust...Pine is an alternative(And is the one that the 40 already takes) or Chestnut.

Pottstown to Norristown would be better served then to KOP(as they already have a bus that does that)

Chestnut would seem to make more sense than Pine, esp to get closer to both the MFL and even Patco

this looks like a bus line I would even use

Well in my crazy mind. The KOP to BSL spur would be heavy rail. The KOP to Pottstown Light rail. I would also think a light rail along the 202 corrider (Great Valley or Exton and down through and linking to the KOP Heavy Rail and through to Norristown an maybe even to PM and Ft Washington

The 'M' stands for modified as they're modified versions of the regular routes.

I just submitted a suggestion for increasing late-night Regional Rail service, especially running a train on the more densely populated lines that departs after 2:00AM to provide a reliable way of getting home to those who have, ahem, utilized the entertainment options available in Center City to their fullest.

I would think extending the 20 to Cornwells Height would be good. It would make vehicularly challenged people like myself getting into the city much easier smh. but i don't use Cornwells anymore

That's an uphill battle, mostly because drunks are *******s and you have to give the crew combat pay.

OTOH, getting people off the road IS a public good IMO. so far SEPTA has found sufficient ridership for extra service on two lines but I'd like to see at least one of the reading main (probably lansdale) get service and possible media.

What lines got extra service and how much? Was it added in the most recent schedule changes or before?

before. the paoli and manayunk lines as well as the trenton line (which saw that service cut due to low ridership). the last train for paoli had been 12:15 and manayunk 11:55.
