Default Does anyone have the answer to this question

I have a friend coming in to the city on a Sunday night. She is staying at the Hampton Inn at the airport. She wants to come into center city for a few hours on Monday (she has to be back at the airport by 4:00). She knows about the train and will probably use that. But, in case she wants to take a cab - is the flat fare rate good from hotels at the airport or will she have to take a shuttle to the airport and get her cab there? Same thing returning - can she only be dropped off at the airport? Thanks

Taxi fare is $25-30. Best bet is the train, with 3 stops in Center City.
Lady Liberty is a shuttle for $12-15 but a firm pick-up location-time is required, ie hotel. Best to speak with driver on Inbound.

I know all that. As I said she will probably take the train, but wants to know if the flat fare will apply from the hotel, or just directly from the airport. No interest in a shuttle.

Cabbie could probably spin it either way. I suspect if she got in a cab and said she wanted the flat fare, she would get it. Key is asking before the trip starts.

Use the Über smartphone app. Towncar on demand. Friendly drivers. $15 minimum, no cash exchange, emailed receipt, no awkwardness. Love it.
