    Default 215-Airport Reviews?

I'm just about done with all the taxi services in this city as far as reserving a ride to the airport. They're late over 50% of the time and the dispatchers always lie about the cab drivers whereabouts (oh yeah they're on 5th and South, they'll be there in one minute - I mean, 20 minutes).

Anyone have experience with 215-Airport? Reliable? I need to be picked up in QV before rush hour - 6:00AM, so they shouldn't have any excuses.

I use them out of my center city home all the time. I think once they have been late (my neighbor jumped in the wrong cab and took mine) and they sent other cab 5 min later. I use them for only for early morning flights because I prefer the train just due to motion sickness.

I've probably used them a dozen times. They're typically about 10 minutes early. Just call a day ahead.

agreed they usually are early but don't knock or bother me while I scramble to get out the door.

I forgot to add I do always call the night before.

I've had excellent experiences with 215-airport as well. I've probably used them more than a dozen times and have never had one not show up on time - they're usually slightly early. I too call the day before to reserve.

You have no idea how happy this makes me. Dealing with PHL since I moved away from Main Line Taxi's jurisdiction has been a nightmare for my nerves for those early flights.

Silly question... why not just hail one on the street? It sounds like you're in Center City. Aren't they all the same flat rate to the airport?

Slim pickens at 6am. I've tried that method with the result of nearly missing a flight. Calling 215-airport the day before and no worries.

Yup. I live on Bainbridge and I'm not going to go all the way up to possibly Pine or Locust to get a cab. When I have an afternoon flight, I can get a cab on South within 5 minutes or so. The morning is just brutal for QV and Society Hill. Up until about lunchtime, really.

    Default Alternative.

My friends from Wisconsin have been here 5 times this summer. On their own, they 'discovered' Lady Liberty shuttle service to the Art Museum area, and have had perfect service. -EOM-

If you live near a Hotel, see if you can hop on one of their shuttles. I've done that, and its a cheap 11 bucks.
